I just learned that Andrew Peterson, webmaster at Election Speeches.com wants Senator Obama's position on eminent domain, and I do not know how to reach Mr. Peterson. Send an email to me at jtjm@bellsouth.net and give me Mr. Peterson's contact info. Thank You, John Seravalli

Thank you Mr. Peterson. I hope Mr. Seravalli responds to your post and shares that communication from the Obama campaign with the rest of us.

Dear Mr. Seravilli,
I would be very interested in seeing Senator Obama's position on Kelo. As the webmaster at Election Speeches.com (which I've been preparing for my boss for the last week) I think it would make a splendid addition in the compare-and-contrast format we're using.
Sincerely,
Andrew Peterson

I sent an email to Senator Obama, asking what his position is on eminent domain. The response I got is shocking. Senator Obama supports eminent domain for economic development and for "Public Benefit". The SCOTUS in Kelo said eminent domain is permitted if there is a Public Benefit, such as increased real estate taxes and job creation. Senator Obama agrees with the Court's decision in Kelo. I will forward the email to anyone who wishes to see it. Some agent of change, sounds like the same old to me. Shame on Senator Obama for supporting eminent domain abuse. No home, farm, Church, business or investment property will be safe under an Obama Administration, but the powerful developers will do very nicely.
