Another Lowball Hits the Dirt

          The Temple Daily Telegraph reports that a Texas jury rejected the Texas DOT’s offer of $500,000 for a 27.7-acre parcel being taken for a highway rest stop along the I-35 near Salano, and after taking only two hours to reach a decision, awarded the owners $5.88 million.
